People

People portraits are the essence of my work. Shadow and haze, sharpness and blur, black and white, I make use of these classical tools in my photography. I take my time, I observe and listen. I do not impose myself, I become part of this moment. Each of my pictures contains a story, a background, perhaps even a secret. And the light that breaks through the darkness in these pictures has developed from a stylistic element into a major protagonist.
